Network & Wi-Fi

Coverage and access-point planning, copper and fiber backbones, racks, Cisco switching, PoE, configuration, and turnover.

Reliable Wi-Fi begins with a wired path, the right access-point locations, and a rack that can power and support the connected devices.

UaPtoTech delivers the physical and active network scope for commercial spaces: coverage and access-point planning, racks, patching, copper and fiber uplinks, Cisco switching, PoE, equipment configuration, testing, and turnover.

Commercial Wi-Fi access point and organized network rack
04Access points depend on the rack, switch, PoE budget, and cable behind them.
Wired foundation + wireless edge

Treat wired and wireless as one infrastructure plan.

An access point can only perform as well as its location, backhaul, power, switching, and upstream connection allow.

01

Coverage locations

Floor plan, construction materials, user areas, device density, mounting access, and cable routes shape the access-point layout.

02

Switching and PoE

Port count, uplinks, PoE demand, rack space, power, ventilation, and future devices are reviewed together.

03

Readable rack

Patch panels, switches, uplinks, labels, and cable management are arranged so adds and troubleshooting remain practical.

Included by scope

Typical network and Wi-Fi scope

  • Rack, cabinet, and equipment-location planning
  • Copper and fiber uplink pathways
  • Switch, patch-panel, and rack installation
  • Access-point cabling and mounting
  • PoE capacity, switching, configuration, and device coordination
  • Network testing, cleanup, expansion, and path troubleshooting
Handoff standard

Keep the physical layer easy to support.

The handoff should show what connects where, which paths serve access points and other PoE devices, and how the rack is organized. UaPtoTech focuses on that physical clarity so the network team can operate from a dependable foundation.

Project questions

Before the site walk

Do you provide the cabling for Wi-Fi access points?

Yes. Access-point cabling and mounting are planned with the ceiling, wall construction, cable distance, PoE requirements, switch location, and the intended coverage area.

Can you organize an existing network rack?

Yes. The existing patching, switches, uplinks, power, labels, cable lengths, and active connections are reviewed before cleanup so live services are not treated as disposable cable.

Do you configure network equipment?

Yes, when included in the proposal. UaPtoTech can coordinate switch, access-point, PoE, and related network configuration, testing, and turnover around the selected platform and project requirements.

Do you provide ongoing IT support?

Post-install support, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance are available by scope. UaPtoTech does not market a 24/7 managed-IT service or emergency SLA.
