Selected Project Work

Real commercial cabling, fiber, access control, surveillance, networking, and technology-integration work completed by UaPtoTech field teams.

Selected field work

Infrastructure that still makes sense after turnover.

These examples document commercial work delivered by UaPtoTech technicians and coordinated project crews. Client identities and exact addresses are omitted; the visible work and stated scope remain specific.

Each case highlights a different constraint: repeatability at scale, a clean daily entry point, remote-site coverage, or technology integrated into a finished room.

124-Room Wi-Fi, Cat6 and Fiber Infrastructure

A multi-room infrastructure build covering 124 room locations, 124 wireless access-point positions, Cat6 cabling, and fiber distribution.

  • 124 room locations and wireless access-point positions
  • Cat6 pathways, pulls, and organized terminations
  • Fiber distribution between equipment locations

At this scale, consistency becomes part of system reliability. Routes, room layouts, terminations, labels, and distribution points were organized so the work could move efficiently and remain understandable at handoff.

Access Control Greenville Area

ButterflyMX Access Control Upgrade

Existing controlled-entry hardware was upgraded with a ButterflyMX reader and a cleaner door-side installation for everyday credential use.

  • Existing entry hardware removal and upgrade
  • Reader placement at the natural approach side
  • Controller, door hardware, and credential-flow coordination

Access work has to resolve both the system behind the wall and the experience at the opening. Reader position, controller interfaces, door hardware, feedback, and finish were treated as one coordinated scope.

Remote Site Surveillance Upstate South Carolina

Remote Pole-Mounted Surveillance

A pole-mounted surveillance setup built to create useful outdoor visibility where a conventional building mount was not available.

  • Elevated dual-camera coverage for an exposed site
  • Pole-mounted enclosure and weather-aware hardware
  • Solar-supported power and field equipment arrangement

Remote sites introduce different constraints than interior work. Mounting height, field of view, weather exposure, enclosure access, communications, and available power all have to be resolved around the actual location.

Commercial Integration Upstate South Carolina

Commercial Technology Integration

A commercial technology-integration scope where four finished-wall device locations had to align with the room and the infrastructure behind it.

  • Four display locations aligned to the finished wall
  • Device mounting, pathways, power, and data coordination
  • Clean visual finish with future service access in mind

Visible technology still depends on disciplined low-voltage coordination. Device height, alignment, backing, pathways, power, data, and service access were resolved around the finished space.

Project record

What a useful handoff should preserve.

The deliverables depend on the project, but the final system should not require guesswork to understand what was installed.

01

Locations

Device, outlet, rack, panel, and pathway locations are tied back to the agreed scope.

02

Labels

Identifiers remain consistent at endpoints, patch panels, and the equipment side where applicable.

03

Verification

Checks and reports match the cable, device, and testing level stated in the proposal.
